Issues SIDDC is currently focusing on:

1. Sustainable, profitable pasture based dairy farming
2. Environmental monitoring and protection
3. Improving the farms' water, nutrient and feed efficiency
4. Reproductive performance in large herds / high productive farms
5. Dairy support land / total farm efficiency and resource use
6. Development and use of 'eco-n' nitrification inhibitor technology to reduce nitrogen losses and increase pasture production
7. Mitigating the effects of clover root weevil
8. Reducing the farms' greenhouse gas footprint / emissions per kg milksolids
