Soil temperatures at 9 am have averaged 9.2  this week, above average (8.5) for this time of year. The graph below shows how the average weekly 9am (10cm) soil temperature is tracking throughout the season and compares against the last two seasons. The soil moisture/temperature tape was ploughed up on farm and awaits repair. .

The data for now is derived from an average of the 3 closest soil tapes, Lower Aparima, Waimatuku and Makarewa.
